At SpellBeeStar LLC, our mission is simple, to bring students and educators together from around the world, from all grade levels, in the spirit of learning while having fun, by participating in real-time virtual Spelling Bees!
At SpellBeeStar LLC we understand a few key things; in this day and age we have to meet our kids where they are in terms of how they get information and how they interact with their peers; it's how they engage with their world. It just makes sense to use it to help them learn - now more than ever under current circumstances.
At SpellBeeStar LLC we also know that a good vocabulary is seen as a sign of intelligence and the sooner kids start learning new words, the better.
Now, whether you're a parent just looking to keep your kids occupied and learning, a full time homeschooler, or your kids are within a local school system, this is a great supplement to their curriculums that is fun, engaging and interactive!
SpellBeeStar has a spelling bee function that works just like the real thing! The app speaks the words to the user, and they must spell it in the allotted time. Remember, it's a competition, so they want to reply quickly to stay in the game and win!
SpellBeeStar also has a Test and Study mode function. This is great quick way to work on spelling and vocabulary as in a classroom setting, testing the users skills in simple, solitary setting, without other players. Use these modes to prepare for your upcoming spelling bees. Teachers or parents can actually select which words will be tested.
A great NEW feature we added is if a child wants to participate in a spelling bee but doesn’t want to play against other people, they can play against computer players! The app allows users to play against up to 4 virtual computer players, just remember to select the “computer” option when creating an event.
Currently this app is only available on iOS. An Android version is in the works!!
Please inquire about our pro membership plans for schools and school districts. As a member you will have:
